Frequently Asked Questions

When can I come to the library?

In the morning before homeroom or during homeroom with your teacher's permission
At lunch time with a pass
After school on Monday and Wednesday
With permission from your teacher
With a class

How do I get a lunch pass?

Stop in the library before going down to lunch to pick up a pass.  Eat your lunch in the cafeteria and then come up to the library.

What are the rules for borrowing books?

You can borrow up to 3 books at a time.  The books must be returned within 2 weeks unless you renew them.  You won't be able to take out more books if you have books that are overdue.

What happens if a books is lost or damaged?

If you can't find a book or your book has been damaged, come to the library and let us know.  If you are unable to find it after a reasonable amount of time, or it is damaged,you will be asked to replace it with a new copy.  If that title is no longer available, we will give you an alternative title for replacement.

Are there any special rules in the library?

Come to the library to read or do homework.
Don't eat or drink in the library.
Use the library computers for school work - not games
Respect others and work quietly.
